FAQ About Choosing Your Images/Customizing Your Page

Where can I find main images, what size/format are they and what should I keep in mind when choosing mine?

Your main image (the one that appears at the top of the page) can be found on any stock photo site. The final image will be 1500×430 px, which is about 4x as wide as it is high. Images should be .jpg or .png format, and for best results, should be 150dpi or greater.

Things to keep in mind when image-shopping:

  • Search for landscape-oriented images (the ones that are wider than they are tall)– portrait-oriented images will not work for this use.
  • Be sure you license an image that is wide enough– the image you select should be at least 1200px wide, best is if it is 1500px or more. We can always reduce image size to fit, but we cannot increase the size without affecting the quality/clarity.
  • The image you select will need to be cropped to the required height, so make sure that the information that must be seen in the final cropped image fits within a band that is  about 1/4 to 1/3 of the height of the uncropped/full version.
  • If you’re not sure whether your desired image will work, send us a watermarked demo or comp before licensing it– we can insert that when creating your sales page so you can see how it will look.

Can I pull images/graphics off the web to use on my sales page?

No, you must be the owner or licensee of all images/graphics used on your sales page. If you did not create them yourself or pay someone to create them for you, then you must pay to license them for use on our site.

Proof of ownership or valid license is required for all images we use.

Partners who submit images they do not own or have not licensed are subject to immediate termination without notice, and will be liable/responsible for all legal fees and damages we incur due to the use of unauthorized images.

Can I have multiple images at the top of my page in a slider like on the sample page?

No, although we provided multiple examples on the sample sales page to give you inspiration/ideas on what you could choose, each sales page includes only one image at the top.

How long can the title and captions on the top image be?

The image title and caption should be 4-8 words at most, because on smaller screens, they will cover the image and run below it if they are too long. (The title on this page leaves room for 1-2 words more, and the caption on this page is the max length– if you view this page on a mobile phone screen, you can see how it looks.)

Ideally, the title should orient visitors to the type of challenge you will be offering and which season it’s for (if applicable), and the caption should serve as a general call-to-action to “Take the [Your Program Name] Challenge!”

We will craft these for you for best conversion based on the other information you provide, but you are welcome to submit your ideas when you submit your sales page customizations if you wish (use the last field, for “any other customizations”).

Do I have to offer a Facebook or other group for advice/support?

No. We recommend you do, because it offers you a great opportunity to build a relationship and interact with your clients, but it is not required.

If you only offer a capsule wardrobe and outfit ideas, we will adjust your page to 2 columns instead of 3 to reflect that.

Do I have to have 3 bonuses?

No, you can have up to 3 bonuses but if you choose to have fewer, that’s fine– we can adjust your page for anywhere from 0-3 bonuses.

Do all of my item and bonus titles and descriptions need to be the same length?

Yes, all titles and descriptions that appear in the same row across the page need to be as close to the same length as possible– otherwise, they will not align right.

For best appearance, your names and descriptions should not be longer than the descriptions under the shopping list/outfit ideas/Facebook chat sections above. If you need to include more information, you can add it in your FAQ section.

We reserve the right to edit your text if needed so your page looks good and aligns properly on all devices.

Can I add additional FAQ items?

Yes, we will include up to 15 questions and answers in your FAQ.
